Hey. I'm trying to play Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker and just started a new save and the game + music is really slow motion, it goes from about 15-20 fps.

My settings: Dolphin 3.5-367 64
Enable Dualcore
Enable Idle Skipping
JIT Recompiler
Direct3D9
1920x1080
V-Sync
Fullscreen/Not fullscreen, lags on both but I prefer Full screen
4x Native
4x SSAA
Scaled EFB Copy
Widescreen Hack
Ignore Format Changes
EFB Copies to Ram
Texture Cache safe
External Frame Buffer Virtual

My PC specs:
i5 3570k @ 4.2GHz
Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 XT @ 1270MHz
Windows 8 64 bit
Catalyst 13.3 Beta Drivers

I'm now getting 8 fps...

Update: Deleted beta drivers, now im getting full speed except when im around this area.

As you can tell, i'm only getting about 70% speed.

4xIR + 4xSSAA with AMD 7870XT ( 4xIR + 4xSSAA = insane resolution , disable SSAA immediately !)
EFB Copies to Ram (is default but it's fine)
Texture Cache safe -> Use Fast
External Frame Buffer Virtual -> Do not enable this

You messed up the default settings
Now you complain about poor performance with that light-weight game

So set SSAA to none and keep 4x IR?

Fix the other things he mentioned first. WW is pretty light weight you should be able to use 4x ir with 4xSSAA IMO. But update to a more recent build like Starscream mentioned first.

2xIR + 4xSSAA ~ 3xIR
3xIR + 4xSSAA ~ 5xIR (3200x2640 near 4k resolution)
4xIR + 4xSSAA ~ much higher than 4k resolution

Yeah it certainly isn't necessary but I can do it on a gtx 660 so Ayaruka should be able to do it on a 7870.

I use a wired 360 controller. My gc adapter doesn't work in win 8 unfortunately.
