Hello all, I have a bug with zelda wind waker. I searched but can't find an answer.
When I try and get an item, I can't get past it. For example:

As you can see, I'm getting an item, the text is purple, I CANNOT get past any purple text. All other text runs fine. I've pressed every single button and can't get past the purple text. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Okay I've read a few threads saying "Enable item hang fix" but they don't say how to do it. Can you please tell me how to do this?

Edit: I enabled it in Patches and it still hangs.

Edit: I enabled LLE and it works. anyway to fix it without though because it slows down dolphin a bit and i dont listen to dolphin audio anyway.

You can read about LLE audio here and you can follow this guide on dumping the files. LLE audio is more demanding than HLE, so if you don't get 100% gamespeed with LLE, the sound will skip.

Yes, setting the DSP to LLE more accurately emulates the audio, so you'll encounter less problems with game sounds and music. Have you dumped the DSP files and set Dolphin to use the LLE recompiler? That's the usual way to get LLE audio to work with Dolphin.

If you've set up LLE audio like the instructions in the links described, post your Dolphin settings so we can see your configuration.

Yes, the savestates produced when using HLE audio and those produced with LLE audio are incompatible with one another, as far as I understand it. If you ever find yourself playing a game and need to switch between HLE or LLE audio, it's best to save in-game normally to the memory card. You can still use savestates later, as long as you don't change between HLE and LLE.
