Hi, I'm playing Twilight Princess on Dolphin r6723, the game runs mostly smooth, but in some areas (Faron Woods, Hyrule fields after Kakariko at night and other) there's a huge slowdown. It doesn't improve even if I decrease resolution and details, so i don't think it depends on my configuration, I post it anyway:
Processor: Intel I7 2.67 GHz
Video: Ati Radeon 4870
Ram: 6GB
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate X64
I use the OpenGL plugin.
Is there any way to run the game faster? Might it improve by upgrading to r7063? In this case, how do I copy the savefile from the old version to the new one? Thanks anticipately.

I've tried (if you mean the Direct3D 9), it just worsens quality, but speed remains the same.

I would upgrade the version... I'm not sure when it happened, but Dolphin has had some drastic speed improvements lately. Perhaps most of it happened before r6723, but I would update just to be sure. Also, definitely use the DX9 version. It's greatly superior. The quality issues are simply because you haven't set it correctly.

Well I have the new version, but I need a way to copy the save file from the old one, or I won't be able to see if the slow point goes better (moreover I' ve already completed two dungeons, I'll never start again just to see if it's better XD)

So go to <Dolphin Dir>\User\GC\

or

<Dolphin Dir>\User\Wii\

and copy everything to the new version.

Set efb copy to texture. Then right click the game in dolphin and click game properties. Make sure the box next to "ZTP hack" is checked.

Ok, I've copied the savefile to the r7062, and it runs smoother (with the D3D9 plugin, here working fine), not at full speed but at least it's playable. Unfortunately now the music has slowed down (also when the game runs at full speed). How can I fix this?
EDIT: I've just noticed that it's the D3D9 Plugin to slow down the music, in both the Dolphin versions.
