I imagine this is a common problem with a common solution no?

You're using an old an unsupported build. Grab the latest dev build (4.0-6585 as of writing) as this problem was already fixed.

Kinda taking from the other post about the map, but when I'm playing the GC version, the map is just blank.  It doesn't show up at all.  Using the latest 6587 dev build.  The config file does have the projection hack enabled.

If that is a known issue, then why would it be enabled in the ini by default?

Perhaps that should be added as a bug?

Does removing the projection hack from the INI solve anything, though? It's all zeroes, and I don't know if that actually has any effect...

There's no Projection Hack active by default and I just tested a clean install of 4.0-6587 with default settings (except for the Memory Card, I imported my save) and the mini map just works, without changing anything. I have the GameCube version.

@ProtagonistJake: you're using the 32-bit variant (which we dropped compatibility sometime ago) of a very old version (Dolphin 3.0). To get support in our forums you must be using the latest stable release (4.0.2 at time of this writing) or the latest development builds. As the other members stated, this issue is already fixed in newer builds, plus, they're a loooot faster than the build you're using...

I went into the config and disabled the projection hack.  Now the map shows up just fine.  Don't remember ever enabling the hack, but maybe a previous revision had it enabled by default

No projection hack for twilight princess was ever enabled by default. You probably don't remember doing it.

Most likely.  I've been using Dolphin for about 6 years, so it's quite possible I enabled it at one point and forgot about it
