having a similar problem to bayonetta..
during the save file select screen or when i am flying the bird,. i can never seem to move the cursor very much to the left or right. as soon as i do that the little hand goes back to the middle.

i pressed the home key to bring up the Wii menu (Wii Home/Reset) and i noticed that the pointer was not moving at all, it was as if the sensor bar isn't working.
i tried two candles and nothing.

i am not sure what bluetooth adapter i have, but it seems to pair and work with Dolphin just fine.

disregard my previous post, i was setting the wii mote into hybrid mode and it wasn't picking up the IR cam (obviously), changed it back to Real WiiMote and its 100%.

Skyward sword , flying, select screen, all working 100% so far.

Hey all,

The game works for me with my Wiimote for the most part, I do have issues like I saw somebody else say with it going out of sync fairly often. When I start I can wave it around and the motions are mostly 1:1, but after using it for about 30 min to an hour, or if I use it intensively for a bit, the motions go completely out of whack.. In a few instances just going to the menu and recentering it helps a bit, but often times I have to completely restart the game, refreshing the wiimote inbetween just to be sure, else it will start to work backwards, upside down, not going to the left etc. Is there a setting I can try within dolphin that may help with this, or do you think it's my bluetooth adapter, it is kind of old and not officially certified to work with Windows 7, but I figured as long as it could connect to the wiimote it'd be good. Also, I use candles in place of a sensor bar, but I was under the impression that that's only used at the very start to center the wiimote and it didn't factor in afterwards.

Any input is appreciated.

After playing for extended play times (30min plus) i am getting the exact same thing.
i've come to just save often and restart the game, re-calibrate and all is fine for about another 30min to 1 hour.

slingshot and beetle can be extremely hard when the controller pointer keeps going to the side (bottom left) when i am trying to turn right.

That's the exact same issue that disturbes me!
The worst thing to deal with is balancing over a rope (in Zelda SS). If my controller is decalibrated it's just impossible.

The developers should really look into this! (Well if I have some freetime left maybe I'll have a look Wink)

BTW: What kind of Wii Mote are you using?

- Wii Mote + Motion Plus Addon
- Wii Mote with integrated Motion Plus Module

I have a workaround that works sometimes:
Point the Wii Mote directly to the middle of the screen and press "c" (in Zelda SS) this works sometime for me, but not always.

This isn't a problem with Dolphin. It occurs on the real Wii too. Every game that uses the MotionPlus (both add-on and integrated) has this problem.

Which means we can't do anything about it?

Right. It is a limitation of the technology.

I'm using a small bluetooth dongle (literally the size of half of my thumbnail), a Nintendo Wii remote, Nintendo Wii Motion + adapter thingy, and a monoprice wireless sensor bar (uses AAA batteries) and it works pretty well. It can be a pain to get the controllers to connect at first, but once they are connected it works just fine unless the batteries run out. I'm not sure if it is a bug with the emulator or with the bluetooth or whatever, but I can never get a controller to reconnect (and work in game) when I replace the batteries. I have to restart the game to get it to work again. This can be avoided obviously because I can make sure to change the batteries when they get low, but still it can be annoying. Other than that it works pretty well.

I finally got my Wii Motion Plus controller synced with Dolphin, the buttons work but the motion pointer does not, will a sensor bar fix this?
