Hi, There seems to be a problem that won't let me play skyward sword and I have the latest version of dolphin. It wants me to connect the nunchuck while it's already connected, but it won't do anything. I'm using the newer build of Dolphin emulator that is at 3.5 2274 and using Emulated Wiimote. Plugging in real wiimote is hard because I don't want to buy real wiimotes and stuff to get them prepared for the emulator. All I need is to use the internal wiimote and nunchuck to play the game using my keyboard. Could someone help me get past it so that I can play the game using only my keyboard with the wiimote keys mapped?

Zelda Skyward Sword Nunchuck not connected problem

This game will get pretty unplayable (1st dungeon, those eyeball door locks or whatever) pretty early on with anything other than a real Wiimote with WiiMotion control. I know you mentioned nothing about playability as an issue, but getting a real Wiimote will save you the hassle of dealing with this Nunchuk issue and it will make playing this game not impossible. As much as you'd probably like to not hear this, the best advice is to reconsider buying real Wiimotes for this game.

If not then here is your problem. You can't play Zelda SS with "classical" builds (with emulated Wiimote I mean)

I actually have this problem while using a real wii remote. The startup screen says to plug in the nunchuk even though it's already in, and the game never moves past that screen regardless of how many times I unplug and reconnect the nunchuk. The only way to avoid it is to start with the nunchuk unplugged, then plug it in at the "please connect nunchuk" screen. After that, it'll go to the calibration screens and let me play.
Only every rare once in a while, maybe 1 out of 5 tries, does it actually recognize the nunchuk at startup and let me go straight to the calibration screens as it should. It's the same on both the Toshiba and Windows stacks. 09-21-2013, 11:05 AM

The master builds don't have motion plus emulation capability, you will not get past this screen with an emulated wiimote in them. You have to use a hacky old branch for it. And it's terrible. Just search for emulated motion plus here on the forum and it will show up.
