Dude, you should invest in a better rig lol. You won't do the game justice if you play it at 2fps

CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS, thats when i can get a fat enough amount of cash to buy a new rig, the saving thing just dosent work for me, i find myself unable to save, once i start something comes up and i have to start from scratch, i prefer to get the whole cash at once and buy it then and then

Lol, you can easily save up. Just mow your neighbours lawn each week/month whatever way he wants it, and earn cash.
Not sure how old you are, but if you're 13, you should be able to work at your local store. Try to put that cash in the bank the instant you get it, so that it's not in your reach to spend it on candy or something. xD Getting the -whole cash- at once... you'd have to work a few months depending on what you're going to get. And each month you'll have to resist not spending it on something else. Unless you win the lottery or something it wont happen lol. 10-14-2011, 12:14 AM
Well, i'm actually 20, i'm in the University, although we have a program coming up where we have to go and work for different corporations and companies so as to get experience (6 months), hoping i can muster something out of all the work

I suggest then you decide a given percentage of what you are paid, calculate how much time you'll need to get the money you want with a given percentage, and when you earn it, do as Garteal said, put on the bank immediately

I'll probably have to tell the bank something like 'keep this money for me, dont let me withdraw it until it reaches a certain amount, no matter how i kick and scream dont let me withdraw the cash'

I think Skyward Sword will work just fine in Dolphin, not immediately but next year maybe when potential bugs have been ruled out.
But I'm not sure if I'm going to emulate this or not, beacause I have some other Wii games that I don't use in Dolphin at all only a selected few. I think I'll just play it on the Wii and then be done with it since it's going to be the last game I'll ever buy. This game is the end of Wii and a long era of gaming for me. But it's going to be a kick-ass final with a masterpeice like this. It seems like it's slated for a November 18th release here in Sweden so it's not much waiting left. I wish you all good luck with this game when it launches both Wii and Dolphin wise. 10-15-2011, 10:17 AM
Of course I'll play it on my Wii first. Unlike a lot of people here, I don't see Dolphin as a substitute for a Wii, nor I think it's stable/accurate enough to be considered one. I run emulators and rip my games because I like emulation a lot and just enjoy the experience of exploring and finding the right settings to run it correctly, as well as tracking bugs and reporting problems.
Of course, I enjoy it so much because while I'm at it I play a lot, which is one of my favorite things, but I'd never use Dolphin to play a game for the first time, because it would define my experience with that game as something that could not be real. Emulation is a great experience and one of the best hobbies if you like video games and PCs, if someone uses it just to play games just as it is done on consoles I don't see why using the emulator, as it still brings bugs and else. And I don't think HD can beat that up, the fun part about emulation is the emulation itself, I like the emu because it is an emu, not because it mimics my console (Yeah I'm sure some of you won't understand this last part, but a lot other people will, so just ignore it if you don't )

^Agreed, the main reason for me dumping it first is to see what format the 3d models are in Also, does anyone know if it will be a dual layer disk?
