Yes, and most of the N64 emulators are completely inactive, buggy, and becoming obsolete.

And there are other reasons to play these games on Dolphin, such as mine - Dolphin supports nVidia 3d Vision, whereas no n64 emulator does. Dolphin's emulated version of Majora's mask also supports a lot of the transparency effects in Majora's Mask that Project64 or any of the other emulators don't.

If you get a good N64 emulator and take the time to mess with the existing plugins, you should be fine. Most people give up on N64 emulation because they're too lazy to try different plugins.

you just described me, im way to lazy to mess with them. I dedicated a solid 15 mins of my time to mess with and just got pissed. Come on, someone must know the answer. Someone here must have LoZ MM running perfect on dolphin. Ive played it on PJ64, but the graphics arent the greatest and you can like see thru a bunch of stuff and people as well. I guess thats really the only problem when i run LoZ MM on PJ64. Does anyone have a fix for that?????

I too prefer to use Dolphin to play Zelda games. I'm playing OoT from Collector's Edition and it didn't crash at all. But indeed when I play MM it crashes in about 25-20 minutes, rendering it unplayable. I would love to see a solution to this issue, but I think it will be complicated... The inception of playing an emulator inside an emulator is not far from being archieved (see some virtual console incompatibilities like N64 Zelda games), and if virtual console issue becomes fixed, it will be a great improvement, meaning that it can also be done for Collector's Edition Majora's Mask.

this highres pack you speak of, is that a plugin? For PJ64 or Dolphin? Or both?

No. It's a highres texture pack.
