Yup, you need V2.4. V2.1 is outdated and therefore no longer hosted by me. I only host the latest version and usually the version prior to it in case there are complaints about the latest update.
Zelda: Collector's Edition HD Texture Pack V2.1 (2018-03-27)

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask, but is it possible to skip the main menu for all the game options on the collector's edition and just boot right into ocarina or Majora's mask? Or is there a way to extract it separately? Thanks in advance for all your help
Yeah, there actually is. You have to extract the .tgc file from your dumped disc through Dolphin.
The trick actually is that the Collector's Edition disc (as well the Master Quest disc) is a loader to boot up one of the several movies or games. The N64 Zelda games are actually being emulated (the Wind Waker demo is a native GameCube game of course). Which also explains why the N64 Zelda games are so much more demanding than for example on Project64. Dolphin is trying to emulate a disc that is emulating a game. Sooo... Why not get right to the source and boot that game directly instead than through the loader (the Collector's Edition disc itself) trying to boot? - Right click your dumped disc and go to properties. - Go to the File System tab (last tab). - Go to Disc -> tgc and extract majora_ENG_091003.tgc by right-clicking the disc file and extract it. - You can run the extracted .tgc file directly with Dolphin, if you have the latest development build. Be wary that the Game ID can change. You can always use a hex editor and rename it back to PZLE01 for NTSC-U or PZLP01 for PAL. - You can go even further, within the File System tab go to Disc and use Full Disc Extract. If you would to manage all the separate files of the disc on your computer rather than a single disc image file. AR and Gecko Codes for Majora's Mask for PZLE01 should still work on the extracted .tgc file. There should be no memory changes for the game. I have been doing it for quite some time to avoid the boot menu of the Collector's disc. And as a side advantage it takes less space on your SSD. If you get a different Game ID you can either hex edit it back to PLZE01 or you can rename the texture pack folder, re-add the AR / Gecko codes and copy / rename your save files. No save data should be lost. I use a GCI Map for save files, which is the easiest method to rename your save files. I tried doing the same with the Master Quest disc as well and extracted the .tgc file (which contains both games, but boots Master Quest by default). Except... It doesn't work well... The game region changes to NTSC-J somehow, which shouldn't happen since it is a NTSC-U disc. Of course I can hex edit it back to D43E01, but... The game gets messed up, most noticeable the magic bar. Alas. But it does work for the Collector's Edition disc. I would recommend you to save a copy of your dumped intact disc before you modify / mod it... Unless you want to dump it again if you want to revert back to the original disc contents. I like discs that boot fast and don't waste my precious SSD space, especially when I can mod out unnecessary menu's, intro scenes, prerendered movies, languages. It is just a waste of space, hehe. Just a disclaimer, directly booting the Majora's Mask .tgc file or system files does not increase performance (no higher FPS). This might be interesting to watch, published by Dolphin. On a side note, work has been progressing on Snowhead once again. Trying to replace some of the smaller objects... I totally forgot about the beehives. The health meter should be updated soon again, I post some screenshots when they are available, hopefully they will match the original health meter even more. Currently I am porting the post-boss Snowhead area. Should be fun. I also finally managed to update the rupee icon... How could I have possibly forgotten about for so long...? If you would like the old icon, it is still available as an alternative texture.
Hi, I just heard about he colab project with Nerrel in his MMHD texture pack, and it looks AMAZING, so faithful to the original. After watching the video here (https://bit.ly/2RJ4GdT), I'd be really interested in testing this demo pack out and helping to look for any quirks that need to be ironed out (any excuse to replay this masterpiece of a game lol). But my question is: is there a way to install this pack while still keeping the OOT and menu textures from the volume 2.4 pack? The tutorial Nerrel gives is for MM specifically, and requires you to overwrite the PZL folder, which if I'm guessing prevents non-MM textures from the 2.4 pack from loading. Is there a way to integrate the two packs together, so I can use Nerrel's MM pack while still keeping the 2.4 pack for OOT and menus? Thanks.

It isn't a demo pack either. Ocarina of Time is already finished, so is Master Quest and so is Majora's Mask (it is already completely retexured). Majora's Mask is just undergoing a complete revamp, by using Nerrel's texture pack for truely 4K graphics and a faithful look to the original. I don't know why you must overwrite the PZL folder, you have to do so when I release a new update here. Check a few pages back where I wrote detailed instructions on how to install the texture pack. This texture pack is specifically made to work simultaneously with Ocarina of Time, Master Quest and Majora's Mask. You only need this one pack to run any of these games on Dolphin in HD. I haven't changed that much from Ocarina of Time except the HUD (hearts, magic meter, button icons). The menu's are still mostly the same? I haven't released V2.5 yet, so the menu's in Ocarina are unchanged? Ocarina of Time should still be perfectly intact. Since V2.1 I started on incorporating Nerrel's textures for Majora's Mask, and slowly replacing bluedart's and other custom textures. As of V2.4 Clock Town, Termina Field, Southern Swamp, parts of the HUD and some parts here and there should be already included in this texture pack at the Dolphin Forums. V2.5 will focus on Nerrel's new additions for Snowhead and more stuff missing from the HUD. A side effect of supporting multiple games is that Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask have some shared textures, such as parts of the interface or some area textures here and there. Affecting one game affects the other game of course as well. Which is why I included the Alternative textures. I you would like to keep the previous style (mostly from before the addition of Nerrel's textures, and mostly for the interface) you can switch them out easily. Be wary that the Nerrel's video links to the V2.3 version, while you should use the V2.4 version instead. If you are confused what to do. Just download the V2.4 which has all the textures for all the Zelda N64 games. Rename the texture pack folder according to your disc's Game ID and place it in the correct folder so Dolphin can load it. And that's mostly it. Don't forget to search for the widescreen codes, 30 FPS codes, some other useful codes, to overclock Dolphin (in the Config menu, not your PC) to remove all lag and your ready to roll with whatever Zelda N64 game you want.
Just a quick heads up for what is coming in V2.5.
Final Hours in Showhead: Code: - Reworked Final Hours countdown interface. Still more is subject to be replaced. There is no ETA yet. I won't give it anytime soon. On of the primary goals of V2.5 is to get rid of the old interface as much as possible and replace it with Nerrel's. The previous interface textures will still be available as Alternative textures. Check out http://www.emutalk.net/threads/56677-Maj...HD-Project if you are interested on how the project is advancing. 10-14-2018, 10:29 PM
For all concurrent updates are you just porting over Nerrels textures for Majora's or are you doing some yourself? His work is stunning for that game so far
Most of the work is from Nerrel. Since V2.1 I started porting over Nerrel's texture pack, and gradually removing bluedart's texture pack as a result. You can expect the following updates to include more additions from Nerrel's texture pack.
There might be some textures done by myself, other texture packs or some magical scaling filters. Keep in mind, my texture packs are based on porting with a bit of magic from myself. I can't truly claim therefore those are "mine" texture packs. If I were do drawn everything myself it would take ages... I am just a novice. I usually start out with the easier stuff... The interface for example, when it is in need. I think I am quite good in editing and modifying? So that's one thing I usually do. A bit of retrospect. Up to V1.0 was the focus on Ocarina of Time. Up to V2.0 was the focus on Majora's Mask as well the missing parts for Ocarina of Time (mostly the NPC's and backgrounds). Now up to V3.0 will be the complete overhaul of Majora's Mask. Basically after V2.0 the whole project was considered finish since both games were 99% finished (the remaining 1% is not doable due texture dumping issues). Nerrel proved that Majora's Mask could receive the 4K treatment it deserved, so that's why the project will continue further. For now the focus is on porting Nerrel's texture pack until it is finished rather than creating textures myself. That would be too confusing, and honestly my skill level isn't even close to that of Nerrel's. I might look into creating a few own textures after everything is done. You can actually still play the whole of Majora's Mask and see that everything is already retextured... Except for the time being, beyond the Southern Swamp you will notice the older textures from bluedart's texture pack. 10-15-2018, 04:48 AM
Yo your video said that the game runs at 30fps in dolphin and for me my in game is locked at 20, wondering what I did wrong. Thanks in advanced. Edit: I am aware that 20fps is the normal speed for the game but the video said 30 so I am just checking to see if I missed something. Again, thanks.
