That's a good point. I don't usually use cheats so I didn't even think of those enhancements, and I definitely have no idea how to port them. The widescreen code does mostly work, it has a slight offset but can be manually fixed with free look camera, but I don't like how it creates these issues where the static backgrounds don't line up with the objects. Other little things here and there look weird to me as well. I can also live without 30 FPS and potential bugs, if 60 FPS was possible it would be far more enticing. I will miss the extended draw distance though.
Zelda: Collector's Edition HD Texture Pack V2.1 (2018-03-27)

I once successfully swapped the Ocarina of Time ROM in Zelda Collector's Edition with the 1.0 version. However, the game didn't know how to save (it didn't trigger the Gamecube memory card save system). I think I did it too for the Virtual Console version, but I don't remember if everything was OK. Anyway, I prefer playing the CE or Master Quest versions.
Thanks for the patch, Admentus, by the way .
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670k @ 4.4GHz
GPU: GAINWARD GeForce GTX 1080 Phoenix "GLH" RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X DDR3 16GB 1600MHz CL7 OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Master Quest is simply the best way to experience Ocarina of Time. The harder the better. Of course you should attempt the normal quest if you are a newcommer. I mean, who does not want to take on two Iron Knuckle's at once when entering Ganon's Castle. Besides, Ocarina of Time is sort of boring when not attempting it on double damage (or 4x times damage, even better). I guess I just know every tactic and corner of the game, so I just search for different ways to improve the experience. Insane Mode confirmed.
Ohh yeah. The patch is work in progress. Since the NTSC-U Virtual Console finally works (the other regions should work too) I will be providing texture pack support for it in the following weeks / months. 02-02-2017, 02:59 PM
So I tried the 30 FPS cheat and that alone sold me on the idea that I really need to use these cheats. I didn't think 10 FPS would make that much of a difference, but really it's night and day and now I can't go back regardless of the annoyances of it. I think the only thing that really bothers me is having to hold up to charge the sword or deflect deku scrub bullets but the trade off is worth it to see it run so smooth. I'll have to look into the damage modifier cheats as well, I always did find this game a little too easy and I like a challenge.

I updated the first post with the newest 30 FPS codes that now have a switching system between 30 FPS and 20 FPS. Please select one of the three available codes. 02-13-2017, 10:06 AM

However, you could try using the 30 FPS code found at this thread: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-ar...ora-s-mask. Make sure you use the latest version of the 30 FPS code. Normally the game runs at 20 FPS so 30 FPS should quite a step up with a 50% speed improvement. Playing the whole game in 30 FPS is a no-go. Luckily the latest version of the 30 FPS can use the D-Pad Up button to switch between 20 FPS and 30 FPS mode, so use this when 30 FPS mode is giving issues. This +++ The bombs are like 30% faster to explode and they are thrown less far among other game breaking issues. Playing 30 FPS its great but this almost drive me nuts, specially trying to do side quests for pieces of heart relateds to bombs throwing and ocarina playing... its definetely not adviced to play 30FPS. 02-17-2017, 02:38 PM
Hello everyone! Complete noob here.
Is there a guide somewhere on the optimal settings for the Master Quest? I'd like to finally play that, and this texture pack looks really nice. I'm just lost when it comes to all of the widescreen codes and such. Thanks. EDIT: I feel like I should mention, I have an i5 6600k running at 4.3 GHz, an R9 390, and 16 GBs of DDR4. Also running Dolphin 5.0 and I have the US version of the Gamecube Ocarina/Master Quest bundle. I'm mostly just confused on how exactly to get this texture pack working and with widescreen support. 02-18-2017, 12:19 PM
So I am running dolphin 5.0 and using Zelda the collectors edition which works fine but as soon as I try to load the custom textures it always crashes on the ocarina of time main main menu with "invalid read" etc
I tried using the newest ishiiruka build and have the same problem. I also tried toggling prefetch textures and nothing.. Any ideas?? 02-18-2017, 01:38 PM

If I use the 5.0 Master build, it crashes before it gets to the main menu. If I use Ishiiruka, it crashes after creating a new game, before the opening scene loads. 02-20-2017, 04:17 AM
Would love to play this pack, but can it run on 8GBs of RAM? Dolphin tries to load it but it says not enough RAM available when selecting game. Didn't think this pack is THAT system demanding.
