Update, took a fart n the dark and renamed it back to D43, bingo, you have to wait until the title screen of whatever version of the game you pick (Original or Master Quest) then you see it loaded. Thanks, man for your patience. It means a lot that you helped through this. Hell of a job on this.
Redoing the skyboxes for Ocarina of Time. Hopefully it turns out decent enough.

No... Not patch V3.3, but something else you will likely appreciate. GameCube to N64 Restoration patches have been uploaded and are now part of the texture pack. You require either the original Collector's Edition (USA) or Master Quest (USA) disc. This is done through a Xdelta patch. A Xdelta patcher GUI is included. There's also the option to revert the Ocarina of Time Censorship applied since the 1.1 revision. The patch applies to both Ocarina of Time, Master Quest and Majora's Mask. Credits to: ozidual (Ocarina of Time / Master Quest patches) Aroenai (Majora's Mask patch) If anyone has any issue, legal or troubleshooting, let me know and I do what I can to fix it. Since Xdelta patches are being utilized and only patch the changed bytes from the patches itself it should not cause any legal issues. Thanks to GhostlyDark for helping me out. EDIT: It's correct that the restoration patches cause some textures to appear in a low resolution. These new textures are not included in the texture pack yet. Once V3.3 releases all new textures related to the restoration patches have been reworked in high resolution as well.
An ETA? Honestly I don't know. But I expect things to be moving quickly. All of Ikana has been ported (which Nerrel has been working on) and all fonts in each language are ready. The skyboxes might take a few days, since me and GhostlyDark (mostly GhostlyDark) discovered yet another skybox. Meanwhile I want to complete a few more areas in Japanese. That's it. Hopefully the next update will be up and coming within a few days. I try and show some screenshots in the meantime.
The changelog up until now, which should give some indication of what is going to be changed: Code: - Added textures for the N64 Restoration Patches It's crazy, I know. The texture pack is going to be considerably larger as well, with the DDS BC7 packing taking up 5,27 GB and the PNG pack taking up 5,10 GB. At least for now, it's probably going to be a bit larger before the end. Ohh, and 20.646 textures so far. |
