Z Target triggering Down C

Currently playing Ocarina of Time and, as of today, my Z targeting is now triggering Down C instead.

Troubleshooting I've tried:

+ Re-configuring controllers (using both a D-Input USB N64 controller [Z: Button 6; Down C: Button 0] and a PS4 controller routed through DS4 [Z: L2; Down C: Right Y-])

+ Fresh install of Dolphin (5.0-13901)

+ Rolled back to the previous working install (5.0-13871)

+ Installing the latest beta version (5.0-13603)

+ Restarting PC

+ Testing on a fresh save

I'm honestly at a loss at this point, because everything was working normally on Saturday and OoT is basically unplayable without reliable Z targeting.

Please show us an image of your gamecube controller configuration window.

I apparently woke up a potato today, because I neglected to remember that the GameCube version converted to L-Targeting when configuring the N64 controller.

Thank you anyway!

The n64 VC games map a little differently. To use the c buttons, you can use the analog c stick, but you can also use some buttons. Y for c-left, X for c-right, and Z for c-down. OoT wants you to use your left pointer finger to target, which is Z on n64 and L on GC.
TLDR: use L

I'm not sure how you got it working the first time, unless you got lucky the first time and also reconfigured your controller.

Yep. The GC OoT actually explicitly tells you that Y, X, and Z have new functions on the Rumble Pack enable/disable page. It boiled down to waking up to a very cursed Tuesday (aka: Monday 2.0) and spacing on the fact that I was, in fact, using the GameCube version.

Original controller worked because it had L2 overlapping L-Analogue with Z. Second controller didn't because no L2/R2, and thus no overlap. Rumble Pack page actually solved the problem before the initial post made it out of moderation.
