Ok i will know that for the next time :-), so that cpu is good for emulator but in pc game i think its not enough because dual core is not enough powerfull for turn last game even if you have a good gpu.
You guys cracked me.

The G3258 overclocked performs like an i3-4330, which is fine for most games.
It'll also be a good choice for dolphin. 07-21-2015, 08:11 AM
Yeah i see but for some games who need more than two cores this cpu isn't enough. But for emulator that seem the best ratio price/performance.

To add to your budget for maybe a better graphics card or something you could get Windows for free... Just sayin
Otherwise nice build! 07-23-2015, 01:20 AM
The only game I know of that doesn't run just fine on a G3258 is Far Cry 4, and that's mostly due to poor design decisions while it was being made - on startup, it checks the system's thread count, and refuses to start if there aren't four threads (including hyperthreads) but people have reported it running just fine when it's run on a quad core, but locked to two threads manually.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional

I have a G3258. Can confirm stutters in some games like GTA V. I honestly would save up for a i5-4460 or i5-4690k

I really dont want to play the ultra new AAA Games. 2013 back is pretty much all i want.
Except just cause 3, and going by the game debate scores i got, i should be fine. Oh and final revision: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ZxQGFT |
