I get your point, but the original post also says that the emulated wii is on stock mapping.
I used to have this issue and I only solve it when I bought a GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U (a 4-port Generic Mayflash-clone adapter). Today I can play Wii games with a GameCube controller natively, when available.
