So, out of curiosity I decided to test Twilight Princess (GC) on my father's Lenovo g510 I mentioned earlier. Turns out it runs full speed at 1-1.5x IR with efb->RAM (to fix the maps) on both DX11 and OGL, Dolphin 4.0.2. The laptop stays pretty cool, even after a good 30-40 minutes of playing. The fan is surprisingly quiet too, and the processor would stay at turbo boost speed of 3.0 ghz, no throttling. It is not even a gaming model laptop, it is Lenovo's entry level line.

I am blown away. This might be one of the best dolphin-capable laptops under $500. I have not tried wii games, but as for the gamecube, it can handle everything I have thrown at it.

Wii games usually won't be any more demanding than Twilight Princess; I know Mario Galaxy 1 is less demanding than TP, for instance.

Thanks, I'll be considering the G510 if I'm running low on money =)
I'll ask you a last question and after that I'll stop bothering you,

What do you think about the MSI GS60 laptop?

http://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00164936.html

It's 15.6 inch sleek gaming laptop:

CPU: Core i7-4700HQ (Quad-Core 2.4 GHz / 3.4 GHz Turbo - Cache 6 Mo)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M with 2 Go of dedicated memory
Ram: 8Go (1X8 with one slot available for an upgrade up to 16 Go)
Memory: 1To HDD (7200 rpm) + 128 Go SSD

Feature:
2kg with 6 cell battery
Dual cooling system

(According to different test, under high stress conditions, the CPU and GPU gets to a stable temperature of around 80°C)

Thanks in advance

Yeah, it has dedicated heatsinks for the CPU/GPU. You'll be able to play around 2-3x IR in most games

4xIR in most games . GTX 860 is a powerful mobile GPU !

Does Maxwell have that much improvement in Dolphin? My GTX 770M can hit about 3x IR max, and the GTX 860M is basically equal to mine.

Then there is sth wrong with your GPU . A GTX 260 / AMD 5770 or better GPU can hit 4x IR in most games due to high memory bandwidth
My 9800GT GDDR3 which is so much slower than your GPU but it can handle 3xIR without an issue
Think about it , if your Intel HD 4600 can hit 2.5xIR in most games , that means your GTX 770M isn't that much faster than an integrated GPU !
