Everyone is bias against vista, but I'll never know why.
It works for me, and even faster than XP.
Are you on an Intel Chipset btw>?

I'm sure some are biased towards Vista, but there are plenty out there who say the things they say about it because they really don't like it. I used it for a good year or so, and while at first I liked it, I eventually ended up getting too annoyed by it and decided to downgrade (on my own grounds, not on the grounds of what others have said about it). I haven't regretted that decision either. I even dual-booted with the two once, and even then I decided to remove it because I was tired of it.

vista is better for the emu and ill tell you why
You have to remember XP is from 2001 when no one even had such a thing as Dual Cores or a SATA drive. Now all this new hardware runs on Windows XP but the OS was never designed to run it really
