Hi, I'm trying to use x360ce to map a controller to an XInput device, but when I configure the controllers in Dolphin, I don't see any XInput devices in the drop down. I've place x360ce in the Dolphin installation folder (the same folder that contains Dolphin.exe) and ran it there. It recognized the controller fine, so I saved and it created xinput1_3.dll. Following the troubleshooting tips, I also copied this file into ones named xinput1_1.dll, xinput1_2.dll, and xinput_9_1_0.dll. None of this helped.

For reference, I'm using a Switch Pro controller connected via bluetooth. I am able to see the controller in Dolphin as a DInput device, but I want to use it as an XInput device. Did I do something wrong during my setup? I've read other people suggesting x360ce so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working for me. Thanks!

So x360ce doesn't work. Well, it's not really a supported setup. Not much you can do.

Why use it as xinput if it works as direct input?

It's kind of a long explanation. I'm trying to use this cool app called Remotr to stream Dolphin to my phone, and Remotr supports a nice XInput widget which is way better than the standard key control method it offers. Unfortunately, Remotr tells me that Dolphin doesn't support XInput when I try to add the widget. My suspicion is that this is because I don't have Dolphin configured to use an XInput controller. So I thought, why not try to set up an XInput controller in Dolphin, that way (hopefully) Remotr will recognize that it can accept XInput and allow me to use the widget. I don't have any XInput controllers lying around to test this on, so I was hoping I could use my Switch Pro controller for it.

If you've got any other ideas I could try, I'm happy to give them a shot!

I am not sure if anyone still interested. But x360ce is working for me (I use it to make sticks less sensitive in the center). At least when I set folowing checkboxes in "Game Settings" tab:
1) Add DolphinQt2.exe
2) Set "COM", "DI", "PIDVID", "LL', "SA" for Hook
3) "64-bit v 1.4" for XInput
4) Nothing for DInput
5) Timeout = 0
Dont forget to click "SYNC" button if you have it.
This results Fake VID = 1118, Fake PID = 654
I am not sure what exactly is required, but this setup works for me.

I run "DolphinQt2.exe", but select "Run DolphinWX Instead" when run Dolphin. I have both DInput and XInput in Controller setup in Dolphin now.
Dolphin 5.0-9618, X360CE x64 v3.2.10.82
