Hi guys, some time ago enabled XFB (virtual), some games worked better. I like to use gc bios animation and also needs xfb.

But noticed that non heavy games like mario party series cant reach 60fps.

There is a way to improve this?

Im running on highly oc haswell and nvidia card.

BTW im using virtual xfb, cause real dont allow IR multipliers.

Thanks.

As you can see in pictures, differences are like 30% speed loss.

XFB shouldn't cause a major slowdown. Can you take pictures of your graphics config and normal config

GC BIOS still needs LLE for proper sound (except EUR version, I think -- this one works fine with HLE). It was hugely improved by new-zelda-hle but some sound effects are still missing with DSP HLE.

Well, if I disable xfb fps goes to a rock solid 60.

Im not using any fancy option.

iR x3. NO AA. NO ANISO

Mostly stock settings.

If anyone has any mario party could try for himself and report Smile

Other games still run at 60. But the performance hit is noticeable in most games.

cpu is an i7 haswell at 4.5ghz.

gpu gtx980

45 FPS looks weird. I'm going to investigate.

It's a bug in Virtual XFB. RealXFB doesn't suffer from the framedrops.

Yes, it also happened to me.
If I remember correctly, it was Zelda TP GC.
From France with love.
