I read that you can also be added to the project by submitting bugfixes.

I don't know about submitting and joining at the same time. In my experience, you can only add bugfix, if you're dev. Also, when you see ector's (hrydgard) or F|RES's (fires.gc) names at the Google Code, just add "@gmail.com" at the end of their names. Enjoy! Wink
