I don't know if this is the proper section to post this in, but I've made some programs that will let you manage your Xenoblade save files. If you combine this with a modification to Dolphin that backs up your save file every time you save, you could get a record of your save files in case you ever needed one of them.

Nvm, found the solution to the issue me and the op were having. Seems you need several different programs to even be able to extract the save files from the above poster since his programs don't work.

You need 7zip to be able to extract the save files in the first place and then you need WinISO or a variation of it to be able to change the file type of whatever save file you want, once you get winiso just add the file to it and click on the file to rename it and just take off the extension on it making it into the same type of file dolphin uses as saves.

*facepalm* The extraction tools in there will extract the data.bin files the wii puts out. You still need another program to unpack the .7z file.

I also have no idea what to do with the .xbsave format. I read the instructions and it says I need a .bin file or monado files. I just wanna be able to put the save files into my dolphin browser folder to play them. Also if possible I'd like to convert this .xbsave from PAL to NTSC. Some help would be great.

I think that the .xbsave files can be renamed to monado01, monado02, or monado03, but I don't have access to Dolphin right now, so I can't confirm this. However, I know that there is no conversion needed between PAL and US saves (not sure about J); they are interchangeable.

Yeah I figured it out, if you want to use these saves for Dolphin all you have to do is change the name and extension to monado01 02 or 03. The saves go here:
Dolphin Folder\User\Wii\title\00010000\53583450\data for the PAL version of the game.
