DarkAngel - There is no way to change the textures in the ISO itself. The Wii only outputs in 480p, so there wouldn't be any point to this anyway; it would just make the game slower. Theoretically, you could use WiiScrubber to extract the files from the ISO, at which point you would need to unpack them, convert them, edit them, convert them again, repack them, then insert them back into the ISO. However, as I said, there is no point in doing this for higher resolution textures, and, as far as I know, the format of the textures on the ISO are undocumented, so it would require a good amount of work as well.

The best version to use will be the latest GIT version. Alternatively, you can use a version with the HLE patch if your computer cannot handle LLE (3.0-508-gf30aebf_XBHLE31_PresRes for example).

Here's a second release with dynamic faces.

I have been following this thread for a while now and I have to say, the love this game is getting is beyond impressive! Keep up the good work everyone!
My editing skills are poor at best, but I tried the sharpening thing to see how much of an improvement it could really make. It's not as good as the ones by poweredbykimchi since this is a test and again, I'm not good at this stuff. Possible spoiler for the last character, so hyperlink instead. It looks much better, if you ask me. I won't be releasing this, since it's simple enough and others can do much better than me. I also went ahead and changed the last character's high tension portrait from the mask picture to this. It's of a slightly higher quality than the current ones, but it's not noticeable. 07-25-2012, 08:23 AM

You might be deceiving yourself because not only did I take a very similar approach of sharpening but I don't have much editting skill myself. I do take another step sharpening the image, but there shouldn't be that much difference in detail. But thank you for your comment; at least now I know I'm actually going the right direction >_> Also, it would be nice if you sent me the image/images of the 7th character and then I'll be able to release a third pack of faces. EDIT #901822098319023: Also, I want to make a small disclaimer by saying that I am in no way trying to "compete" with other people making faces. I am just trying to get out a quick release of polished faces so that people can enjoy those for now until the real high-ressed ones are out.

Tried out the dynamic faces file, but it didn't work on my Xenoblade SX4P01 game unlike the other texture replacers in this thread.
Even so, the working textures are highly recommended and make my game look so much better. So keep up the good work!
