Why is it so important for people to run this with 30 FPS? It feels perfectly fine with FPS. Well, maybe it's a personal thing...
I think the Sound problems and the crashes are much more urgent matters!

yeah definitely a personal thing, 25 vs 30 to me... well... it's like Green vs Red Apples.
The final showdown results in red apples being the sweeter one *drools*

It could cause weirdness depending on your display, moreso than others, I think at 25 fps. I'd go for 30 if my computer kept a solid 30 without a doubt but I guess I'm grateful 25 is an option for 100% speed.

If I kind of cross my eyes a bit so I look at the full screen itself and watch as the scenery passes by it looks more jittery than it should but I don't notice it as much when focused on my character running.

Well anyhow, I hope there will be a fix for the sound and the crashes/freezes soon.

Sometimes I can go a long while, sometimes it's rather instant. The weird water flow graphical error with the 30fps patch happened on one revision, not another, so not sure what that's about but the game is faster for me with the 25fps one so I'm sticking with that anyway. Rather go for a bit more janky smoothness than 20-30% slowdown in what seemed like too many fights, unfortunately.
I have played for dozens of hours and I use 6856 build and the sound never bugs for me. It was glitchy in cutscenes but then I overclocked my CPU and bam, problem solved. Game works almost 100% perfectly, every now and then there's a cutscene which has some laggy bits (I could overclock more to fix it) and there are some very minor audio issues but they are really rare and hardly even distracting.

Just turn off fps limit and use audio throttle.

Not sure if I follow what you're saying. I hit 23-24 at times so 25fps being 100% speed is just better for me since I can't keep up 30 in some areas, the patch just slowing down the game too much at those times.
What i meant was, if you're getting solid 30fps in some areas then all suddenly it goes down to 25 then it goes up to 28 then 27 then 25 then 30 it'll get laggy even though you're getting past then 25 fps for a PAL game. You really need a stable 30 fps for it to look good or stable 25 otherwise you'll notice lag.

Well I meant 30fps as in the 30fps patch, for 100% speed. But obviously when it goes up and down it'll be bad, as I stated, that's why I'm not using the 30fps patch cause I can't keep it stable enough so when it drops frames and slows down I'd rather just have it at the awkward 25fps than slowed gameplay at 30fps patch.

I'm saying anyone not able to keep it close around 30 should just leave it at the original speed as it'll play better on their machine that way anyway.

...Do not use display cache lists, lol. Atleast on my setup and revision and everything. Just checking out whatever settings I can. I hit the tunnels under colony 6 and it was giving me exceptionally weird graphical glitches.

I added the patch to force the game into 30fps/60hz but I've become so used to the bastardized way's 120% speed side effect that I immediately switched back the original ISO.
