It seems my processor is a little too weak to have perfect 25 fps stability, but after messing around with settings and revs, I got it good enough so I keep around 22-25 fps.
I do have a question for those further into the game already though, more specifically, people who also occasionally have to see their frames drop a bit like me. Is the first battle(s) and the scene right after that where they charge into their enemies one of the more (hopefully most??) demanding scenes? In that battle I can get good enough fps. In that cutscene however, at one point I always dip down to 19 fps. At 19 there's no problem, if I go 17 and lower (other revs / settings did this) then the sound starts messing up. (I have to use HLE, LLE is just impossible speed-wise) processor: amd phenom II x4 955 @ 3.20 GHz. I looked into overclocking (I'm 100% new to anything bios or hardware though) But my cores go up to 60-ish degrees celcius without any overclocking already, which is on the edge of safety. So unless I ask someone who knows about these things to install better cooling, overclocking is probably impossible. (or isn't it? That's just what I'm assuming) GPU isn't a problem, I can set resolution at 3x or 1x without even 1 fps difference. I'm currently using rev 7236M, it seems to be about 1 or 2 fps faster than the latest ones, for me anyways. So I'd like to know if I can play the game and enjoy it all the way through, or whether I should just use my wii? Of course, I vastly prefer playing with dolphin (3x resolution ftw), unless I can't maintain comfortable speeds that is. 08-18-2011, 11:49 PM
Hi all, it seems Z button isn't answering, I can't initiate a battle, any ideas why ?

Hello everyone,
is it possible to change the frame limit ingame ? Is there a button ? Many thanks! 08-19-2011, 12:44 AM
Great, now the sound is working fine. But the game keep freezing, "Dolphin blah blah stop working", default, try some settings, and no result

For those who are having some lag : try DX9 instead of 11 if not done already.
Also : could everyone tell your rev and some basic information as : sound ok/nok and crashes or not. It could help us figure out which rev is the best. 08-19-2011, 01:32 AM
Oh can feel with you guys... the game doesnt seem to run perfectly smooth with that 25fps/50hz thing.
And there is a huge difference between 25 and 30fps in overall smoothness, I recently played my Super Mario Sunshine Pal with Dolphin. First boot up ws with 50hz/25fps mode and it feeled kinda slow and not fluid. I restsarded the game with 60hz/30fps and suddenly it ran great.

The random crashes are mostly likely caused by the Dual Core.
However, once deactivated the sound get buggy Does Anyone know a fix? |
