Xenoblade Chronicles - Low FPS

Hi guys! I've been trying to run Xenoblade Chronicles and I'm just not having much luck, so I thought I'd see if I could find some help. On cutscenes especially but mostly just anywhere, I'm getting low and annoying FPS drops, ~25-27. I've been able to play any game I've wanted to on my system at the highest settings without any trouble, so this has been really frustrating.

Specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 64
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2ghz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6850 - 1gb
RAM: 12gb

Are all my problems due to my CPU?

Yes, it is due to your cpu not having a high enough IPC, which is Instructions Per Cycle. Your gpu is perfectly fine, ram, has hardly any effect, and os is perfectly fine too, but the cpu will be the biggest bottleneck with dolphin, being as it requires 2(or 3 if you're using dsp lle on thread)

If you can, overclock. It's free performance that you can take advantage of

If you can OC to 4.0GHz you should be fine. You'll need a decent cooler and motherboard to do it.
