hey im having a problem. only some of the custom textures are loading. none optional textures I put in are loading at all. I have the proper settings activated but some are not showing. i.e. the orange Monado fx will never appear. can I get some advice or anything

When you copied the optional textures, did you replace the original files? If not, then you may have conflicts, meaning multiple textures in the pack with the same name in different locations. In this case, Dolphin will load the first one it finds. Other than that, I am not sure what the issue could be. The Monado effects all worked fine last I tried. Just to make sure I'll do a test later just to make sure.

I reinstalled the texture pack and still get the same problem several custom textures don't load i.e. monado fx, gem design, and monado arts. but I get the hd character icons and start screen. if you want bighead I can send you a vid on how I do it. maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Maybe, it's been awhile so I have to reinstall the pack. I'll give it a test to see if this is indeed a problem on your end or if the pack is having issues. I'll update this post soon.

Sorry for the late reply/test, but for me the optional textures are still working. Here I loaded the Spectral monado FX.

And to be perfectly clear, the "Weapons" folder does not go into the "Weapons" folder, it should be placed into the base folder of the texture pack where the "Weapons" folder exists.

did what you said and they still wont appear I emailed you a vid on how I did it and the game where they wont show.

Ohhh of course, finally it clicks. Are you using Dolphin 5.0? If so that explains why they are not working. You will need to use a development version of Dolphin, sometime after Dolphin 5.0-4894. Usually just go with the latest one.

The pack is a mixture of two types of DDS: uncompressed ARGB and compressed BC7 textures. Older Dolphin versions can use the former, but not the latter. BC7 support in Dolphin wasn't added until after the 5.0 release. This explains why the UI is loading and not everything else. Most of the UI is using ARGB, while any texture wrapped to a 3D model is using BC7.
