Maybe these textures are in BC7 format. Recents messages tend to say that there is a problem of loading of this format (variable between users).

12gb? Do you download the high-res textures? And playing in which format? 4k?

Whith high-res textures in 1080p, I reach 4/5gb of data, loaded in 20s. 2minutes is huge.

@jodru: I noticed you are using Ishiiruka, I am not too familiar with it but I'll try to help. A few red flags stick out to me.

- You are using the D3D9 backend. It's been deprecated from master branch of Dolphin for years (and for good reason). Definitely use D3D11, OpenGL, or Vulkan. And/or if Ishiiruka still has a functional D3D12 backend.
- Build 777 of Ishiiruka is pretty old by now. I can't remember if that version even supported BC7 textures. I would at least suggest updating to Ishiiruka 1081 if you are adamant on using it over Dolphin.
- BC7 textures are a D3D11+ format. If they are working with a D3D9 backend, it's most certainly some kind of hack. So if that is why those problems are happening, it wouldn't be a surprise.
- And yeah, 12GB is a far cry from what it should be using BC7 textures. Are you using PNG textures? They would be around 12GB+ in RAM. I haven't offered a compiled pack of PNG for quite some time (although it can still be obtained off my Google Drive). It would be worth updating to the latest pack on that notion alone.

It seems you definitely have the PC to run more up-to-date Dolphin revisions and backends like OpenGL/Vulkan.

Latest Ishiiruka, works pretty much like Dolphin-Master, I'm not sure if Tino implement/merge latest updates to Ishiiruka but works pretty fine..At least for me..
Xenoblade Chronicles running almost perfect, Dolphin-Master also Ishiiruka 10xx.. XbC Texture Pack have no issues, textures is so beautiful and perfect, no pixels at all..

Definitely old builds are incompatible, DX9 Backed luck futures I cannot see a reason to use DX9... Nether DX12..
@Jodru Also I notice you have check Dumb Textures Graphics>Tab Advanced uncheck that immediately : )

If you wanna use Unofficial Dolphin Builds Prefer Latest [UNOFFICIAL] Ishiiruka-Dolphin Custom Version
Otherwise I recommend you to use Official Master Build Dolphin-Master

Also you can try to test this pack XbC_Core_v8.52_1080p.7z

Set Internal Resolution 4x (2560x2112) for WQHD (Only if you graphic card have 4GB ram or more)
If you are using 60FPS Code Patch you should expect Frame drops. or Frame Stuttering..
With High Resolutions, you need high dedicate video memory to run games at 60FPS

I'm always prefer to run the game at stocks speed Xenoblade Chronicles.. 30FPS Physics is cool

Thank you guys for the tips. The game looks a lot better now. For some reason, the really pixellated lights (the sky in the example pic) still was the way it was, but I figured out that I just needed to turn on Anisotropic Filtering to 16x to make it look much much better.

That looks like bad upscaled bloom effects. I created an issue a few years back, but I doubt there will ever be any fix in Dolphin. Some effects just don't scale well at higher IRs, and many games do bloom differently from each other.
https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/9125

All hope is not lost though, as One More Try has some gecko codes to modify the bloom here:

So like did you add the "Arcane Monado"/"Magic Monado" Also great work, and is there any like files someone could use to edit their own Monado textures (Monado I and Monado II)

First: Thanks for your hard work on this Texture Pack, I always love this game, and being able to replay it in high resolution textures is a dream come true. Second: there is a way where I could change the look of the Glory Set, for the Eryth Set for all Characters? I really love the Eryth/Stellar look, and really hate the regular Glory Set look, for the best armor they look pretty standar and boring. Thanks for everything and keep up this good work!

@xWolfz9_: I was pretty sure that frozenwings never finished that Monado, so I reached out and he confirmed just that: it was never finished/released. Most of the Monado textures (if not all) were done by narcku and frozenwings. Neither of them released their project files online. The Monado III by frozenwings however, does have a PSD that can easily be edited included with the pack. For I and II, you would have to edit the PNG files.

I have the entire PNG pack backed up here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1qTYjoe1CoKdYZQxKeOJ689-WP-Z5-8BT

@Chronos_Knight: In general, if the armor sets share a model but have different textures, you can swap the texture names. If they have different models, swapping the textures would mess some stuff up. It's technically possible to extract, edit the models, and reinsert them into the game, but the only guy I know who did any work/research on that jumped ship and never released any information on his discoveries.

Damn that's just sad, I guess i'll continue to see that boring look on Shulk's skullcap. Thanks anyway, you guys have done an amazing job here!

Is there any way to reconvert DDS downscale to 720p the current texture pack?
