I found that it runs best (On my PC) with the following settings:
- OpenGL
- 3840x2400 Fullscreen Resolution
- V-sync off
- 4x Native (2560x2112)
- Anti-Aliasing off
- Anisotropic Filtering 16x
- Post Processing off
- Scaled EFB Copy (checked)
- Per Pixel Lighting (Checked)
- Skip EFB Access from CPU (Unchecked)
- Ignore Format Changes (checked)
- Store EFB copies to texture only (checked)
- Texture Cache Accuracy (Fast)
- External Frame Buffer Disable (Checked)
- Disable destination Alpha (unchecked)
- Fast depth Calculations (Checked)
Under Advanced, I have ONLY "load custom textures" and "Enable Progressive scan" (Checked)
My fullscreen resolution is so high because I'm using nVidia DSR to improve the image quality instead of using anti-aliasing since DSR is essentially downsampling which is better than MSAA.
The system configuration is pretty much default except i'm using OpenAL for audio since that works best with my X-Fi Titanium HD.
I get a solid 30fps just about everywhere and the occasional audio crackle when i alt-enter when exiting fullscreen.
I had previously attempted running the game with DirectX and it was horrible. Stuttering, music slowdown, and crashes.
