How do I remove the 30 fps patch? I want to use Gecko codes but they won't work because Dolphin reads the ISO as Japanese, so it removes all PAL gecko codes as soon as I add them.
I know I have to change the game ID, and edit it with a Hex editor... but where's the game ID?
USA = SX4E01
PAL = SX4P01 JAP = SX4J01 You can find the game ID by right clicking the game inside the emu and selecting "Wiki", you will see the game ID in the right bellow the image on "GameIDs". Edit: Ooops, I misread your post, sorry about that. Glad to know "JosJuice" was able to answer your question.

Yes works very well actually make sure you check "prefetch custom textures" to fix texture load related stuttering. 05-09-2016, 05:45 PM

The first four bytes (or six bytes, depending on how you count) of the ISO are the game ID. Change the fourth byte from J to P to change it back to PAL. 05-09-2016, 10:52 PM

Thank for you answer, you want mean "prefered custom texture" what is ? And, in the first page he said "10 gb ram minimum", i have 8 gb ram, so my gameplay is not fluid ? Thank's
That is if you use the prefetching option with the PNG pack, but I think you can actually get away with 8GB of RAM now if using only the core pack and few optional texures. If I remember correctly, there was a PR that allows using more than 50%. You'll know if it failed shortly after loading the game, Dolphin will report there was not enough RAM for prefetching. Alternatively, you can use the DDS pack and you won't really need the prefetching option.
I know I'm supposed to be working on patches for the game and what not, but I had to do this.
So I've made this texture for the past three days. Here take a look Old New The Texture: http://puu.sh/oPsDP/b4f7719e7a.png This is my first attempt to get an "realistic result" instead of the stylized stuff on my own thread. I've tried to stay as close to the original but in some cases I had to use a completely new texture in order to get the HD look. You can download this texture using the link above and try it out for yourself. Feedback is welcome because I don't think this will be my final version. To be clear these screenshots were NOT made with my custom patch. Don't want to spoil too much. Edit: Just noticed I missed a few details here and there. It will be fixed on the next version. |
