Hello,
I'm new to this forum & to Emulator Texture patching. I am however familiar to Minecraft Texture patching so i'm not completely new to textures Non the less, i'm having a hard time understanding how to patch Xenoblade and was hoping i'd get a faster reply by posting rather than browse 326 pages ;P I am using the latest version of Dolphin (5.0-7015) So i've downloaded the Core file (1080P) and the MipMap which i merged into the 1080P core file. I've copyed the SX4 to "Document/Dolphin Emulator/Load/Texture/SX4". In the emulator itself, i've enabled "Load Costum Texture". When i load the game, the loading screen now appear with the textured version. However, when i play the game, all graphic are not costumised. I've also tried both OpenGL & Direct3D 11 but still nothing. What am I missing here? Edit: I have also tried renaming my "SX4" folder to "SX4E01" (or whatever it was..i forgot) but that didn't workeither. For now, i've left it at SX4. Edit 2: I have just finished trying to do it with RIckv123 installer and still that didn't work. Now i'm truly uterly lost... Thanks in advance 04-17-2018, 04:30 PM
In Dolphin's graphics settings, make sure that the internal resolution is set to something higher than 1x and that Scaled EFB Copy is enabled. If you do that, the textures won't be able to look high-res even if the custom textures have been loaded correctly.

It's the only setting i can find with "1x, 2x, etc". If so, i just tried 2x and then 16x and still nothing. As for Scaled EFB copy enabled, that was already checked. Still opened to suggestion Edit: I just thought of something but i'm at work and unable to test atm. Could it be that the intro with Dunban is not textured yet? 04-18-2018, 12:02 AM

I'll check this out when i get home tonight. I'll edit this reply upon testing. Edit: That fixed the problem. Thank you very much. 04-24-2018, 07:35 PM
Hi. I have a crash with Ishiiruka Dolphin and the texture pack. Upon reaching Makna Forest, after the cutscene with the Mechano flying over a colony, and the weird space woman (Idk, this is my first time playing the game). I receive an error saying:
DX11:XTexture:XTexture Failed in j:\dolphinsvn\dolphin-dx9\master\ishiiruka\source\core\videobackends\dx11\dxtexture.cpp at line 101: Create texture of the TextureCache Up until that point, the game had been working fine. The crash does not appear when I have 'load custom textures' unchecked in Dolphin, and I can play normally. I was using Ishiiruka Dolphin 1051, as came with the installation. I also have the custom PS3 button textures installed. Using a PAL iso. This crash did not appear when I used Dolphin 5.0 -7082, so likely something with Ishiiruka. Just thought I'd bring it to your attention (unless it's already a known bug, sorry ) 05-01-2018, 10:32 AM
Amazing pack. I'm using the 4k version on my 65 OLED and it looks incredible. I'm having trouble maintaining a steady 30fps though. I have a 7700k and a1080ti using the latest version of dolphin in 64 but windows 10. Can you recommend some settings to try to smooth out my frames?

Do not go above the native resolution of your screen when setting IR (so for 1080p it is 3x and for 4k it is 6x) because Dolphin's downscaler blurs a bit, so its better to use MSAA Do not start using SSAA when running 4k, because SSAA actually multiplies the internal resolution, so if you are running 4k with SSAAx2 you are effectively running 12xIR (or 8k) and if SSAAx4 you are running 24x IR (or 16k)

If you CPU have more than 6 or more CPU Cores go you can try Vulkan API, if not, go for DX11 it is fine, usually both API's works great at any Normal PC Build. Graphics - > go for Max Resolution x4 Native, [not above that cause emu will suffer shuttering lag spikes] (4x Native its for 2k screen like 2560x1440p) Hack Tab > Check Everything -> ON Hack Tab > Texture Accuracy Cache Set to FAST You will notice the save/load posters is black. IF you wanna enable save picture posters on save/load in game, Disable on Hack Tab -> Store EFB copies to Texture Only CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 4000MHz OC | RAM: G.Skill DDR4 Dual 16GB 3200MHz OC | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 1710MHz
