IR is usually good enough, especially at 1080p. You can try messing with Anti-Aliasing if you're seeing some jagged edges, but AA costs quite a bit of performance for little return in comparison to what the Internal Resolution setting does. It all depends on the power of your PC. Running Xenoblade on Dolphin is more intense than many modern PC games.
If you have 16GB of RAM, you can also check the Prefetch Custom Textures option in the same tab as the Load Custom Textures option. This will load up all the textures up in RAM prior to the game launching, virtually eliminating lag from textures loading in game. Bighead and I have been lead to believe the game takes around 10GB with prefetch on, so you could do it with less than 16 if you have an odd amount of RAM for some reason.
