So I recently discovered that there are still good rpg's I have yet to play.  Once I got over not being able to control all characters at the same time I began to find the combat really enjoyable and fast(ish) paced.  It seems to be a very long game, something I really enjoy.  A nice, well thought out narritive is hard to find in a game these days.

Anyway, on the the problem at hand.  I have just finished killing Xord and met with Dunban again.  I need to go the misty path and continue on with the story.  However, when I load into the misty path my party falls through the ground and eventually to their death.  I have tried various graphical settings, tried using both the dev version and the stable version.  I have also tried disabling dcbz clearing, however that just made me fall through all ground, not just the misty path load area.

If anyone has some insight I would appreciate it greatly.  I made a recording of it, but I am unsure of how to view it.  It seems to be a save file that is exactly where my save state is but under a different name.  My computer specs should be in my profile if those are of use to you.

Thanks,

ahiggs

Save states should be stable in Dolphin, but just in case, have you tried using a system save (i.e. saving/loading like a real Wii would)?

I'm replaying around the same area you are (my old save got deleted...) so I can test that area for you.

I can give you the games saves around that area. I also have the save states also. I have downloaded 4 different save files around colony 6 area and the same result has happened loading "normally" that has happened in save states. Would a video help you or do you need it to be on your local machine?

I will try that. Can you tell me the exact size or the iso to compare to mine? Or will the corruption still be counted in the size of the file?

I went and grabbed my disk, and after dusting it of re-dumped the image. It seems the one I was using was corrupted because this fixed the issue immediately.

I really appreciate the help and hope you all have a great weekend Smile.
