I seriously doubt that. 2.4v will fry all but the absolute highest quality DDR2 ram. No manufacturer would recommend anything above 2.1v

You really need to find out what that RAMs proper settings are. Do you know which kit you bought?

You can try 2.1v 1066MHz at 5-5-5-15 or 6-6-6-18 if you want to experiment.

By the way where it says CPU ratio control I'm fairly certain that that's the "link" that I was talking about earlier.
I dont have the cpu ratio control option. I can only change the multiplier. Slight difference here since i have a p5k and thats a p5k-deluxes's bios. Mostly the same but i have Change cpu ratio option instead of that one.
I got it to run with 6-6-6-18 and 2V. Seems fine this far. Atleast nothing crashed^^

I would bump that up to 2.1v if I were you. Run some memtests to verify that it is stable.

I actually stopped giving a fuck. Gona install a 64bit os since it cant recognise all 4 gigs. Btw is a 64 bit os slower than a 32? I mean with older hardware.

Only in extremely rare situations such as a system that's low on memory.

Usually 64 bit applications run faster than 32 bit applications.

That's why 64-Bit Dolphin is faster than Dolphin 32-Bit Tongue

Some kingston HyperX modules are recommended 2.3V on some kits and 2.2V on others.

Jesus that's crazy. Most motherboards won't tolerate a memory voltage that high for very long.

I remember both of my LGA775 motherboards supported DDR2 1066 MHz ram but had a warning about exceeding 2.1v.

The maximum recommended voltage for the DDR2 standard is 1.9v according to JEDEC (the organization that created the standard):
Quote:According to JEDEC
the maximum recommended voltage is 1.9 volts and should be considered
the absolute maximum when memory stability is an issue (such as in
servers or other mission critical devices). In addition, JEDEC states
that memory modules must withstand up to 2.3 volts before incurring
permanent damage (although they may not actually function correctly at
that level).

With LLE there are no sound issues.
With HLE you have to use this: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-patch-xenoblade-hle-audio-hack-fix

offline and that doesnt fix it.
tried it, doesnt work for me.

got it working with opengl without soundisues (not much at least in comparison with dx9)
but its not the most effective way because opengl tend to be unstable at times.
