Hi guys,

searched my ass of to get an solution but eventually i did not get the XBox360 controller to work. I even tried to put the dinput8.dll in the rootfolder of Dolphin 3.5. Nothing changes at all. That was needed for telltales The Walking Dead. Because this game doesn't recognized the XBox Controller too.

Dolphin recgnizes it. The settings in Windows are just fine. Every button makes a response. Same in the GC Pad configuration screen. I setup every button correctly saved the profile and closed the GC pad options window. Start the game and it still won't work. Not a single button. But in the GC pad options they all respond correctly.

so do your best Sherlock... Confused

thx in advance

cheers

Which game(s) are you trying to play?

You might need to connect a gc pad to the gamecube port.

Config > Gamecube > Port 1 > Standard Controller.

Also you should be playing a GameCube game, because Wii games usually look for a Wiimote.

New Super Mario Bros is a Wii game not a GC game. So a Wiimote is necessary not a GC pad.
Go into "Wiimote" (not in "GCPad") and configurate an emulated Wiimote

Thx and jup shame over me...i just found this out by myself minutes ago...^^ But now the buttons won't get arranged like i want. Every arrangement is false.

For NSMB i need mainly A+B and the D-Pad from the wii controller to configure. But it won't work like i setted it.

Even bigger Problem is when i get into the first level i immediatly die. How'S that happening?

If you use Wiimote + Nunchuk you have to configurate Nunchuk in "extension". A+B will work.
If you play only with a Wiimote you'll have to use 1+2 instead of A+B.

any idea why in New Super Mario Bros First level Mario will immediatly die? Not even a chance of seeing at least just one frame of the first level. It's instant dead...

When i enter the first level he will immediatly die. No strings attached. That's all what happen. I'm in the world selection menu. Where you can move Mario so he walks up to a certain level which you want to play. I started it new. So no old savegames are there. I didn't already played it so i can only walk up one move to the right to the first level. I Enter it. I hear the Mario died sound and the Bowser game over screen shows up. After that i'm back to level selection again...

So it's enter the level. Game Over Bowser screen. Back to level selection world...fuuuuu Confused
