the ps3 was hacked a month age... and only partly =/ (look at mine, it is on the table in 50 parts -.-") i was just trying to get acces on the memory, installing XP and testing Dolphin and PCSX2 on it...
If there are any drivers for the PS3, please, let me know! write PM ^^ the hardware in the ps3 is crypted(sorry i don't know the correct english word).... that means you can't freely use the hardware of the ps3. after it is hacked (i should say ,,unlocked"), you need to gain information of the ps3 (about the hardware)... after gaining knowledge about it, you can start to write an emulator... this will take 2-3 years... ( at example: PCSX2 is going more than 3 years on that... and it is not perfect) and the current PC systems would NOT be able to run a ps3 emulator at 5-10 FPS.... maybe in 6 years there will be fitting computer systems to emulate it... IF WE HAVE LUCK !!! emulating a system means putting a console into a single programm... that is not easy... ( CPU, SPU, GPU, RAM and so on) and xbox 360? no one has interesst in that console... every game that comes for xbox, comes for PC and PS3 too... then why to emulate it? makes nonsense. AND i hate those emlating fakes... really -.-"... those people have no hobby's and a bad childhood... don't believe in those ps3 and xbox 360 emulators... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PS. ^^: ... some genius will come and rescue us (remembering N64 times with UltraHLE ^^)... this was the time where many people started to study about emulators ...

FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
........showing X360 buttons on a PS3 emu.......... FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 02-19-2010, 11:24 AM
I lol'd when I read the title...even if it WERE true, there is no way it would run smoothly, you'd probably get seconds per frame rather than frames per second. And also, if so much work is still being put into emulating gamecubes, n64, PS2, there's no way that a perfected 360/PS3 emulator would be around so fast.

Also keep in mind that the cell processor is probably the weirdest CPU on the planet excluding custom hardware. It uses a 64 bit power processor element which is a 2 way multithreaded core that acts as a controller for the 8 SPE units which are designed for vectorized floating point code execution and have 4 threads each (32 SPE threads total). It uses XDR DRAM through some weird bus system (forget the name) and I won't even go into the rest, basically to sum it up it's a weird architecture that's vastly different from any other RISC or x86 CPU. So I really want to see someone try but quite frankly I doubt it can be done at all. If it can be done than certainly not even at 1% of the intended speed. I mean cell BE literally has a higher throughput in virtually any kind of operation vs. any x86 desktop cpu on the market today.

That is really fake because :
1- even dolphin wish is more than 5 years of devlopping is slow in some game 2- those video are in 2009 or 2010 (maybe even 2008) and it is impossible to create a XBOX360 or PS3 in less than 2 years except by a lot of expert devlopper 3- XBOX360 & PS3 are more powerful than wii and they maybe need more than 7 years to create a one like or less than dolphin compatibility 4- the games are running are fast (maybe even more than full speed)

is fake, emulate ps3 with today's cpu's is not feasible.
sorry for my bad english 02-22-2010, 01:56 PM
I think this is a 100% fake , at least a working emu .
alone the ps2 emu needs a couple of years to become beta status . for what is my question ??!! Most games on next gen consoles comes paralel on pc out . only reason in my brain are resolution and antialaising . What brings us to the next point , the power you need to emulate next gen Consoles is on slicon graphics workstations liga . problem is .... Most guys have there own silicon station in basement to cool the hardware. Nobody whants sit in basement only to play ps3 or xbox360 I love sarcasm LOL 02-25-2010, 11:09 PM
Bloody impossible, considering the current state of things. You'll need a NASA computer or Principal Nero's PC just to code and run a 360/PS3 emulator. Obviously you need to have a system that's several times as powerful as the console you're trying to emulate. So far only the Wii, among the seventh-gen consoles, can be emulated (with Dolphin of course), at least to an extent.
