I'm trying to setup wireless 360 pad as an emulated wiimote. I have it set up such that A,B,1 and 2 are A, B, X, and Y respectively. I have the the D-pad as the D-pad, the home button as the start button, IR sensor as the right joystick, and the tilt as the left joystick. Everything is working except steering in the game. I'm pretty sure the tilt is what controls the steering on Mario Kart. I've also tried setting up the left joystick as swing. That didn't work either. Via google searches I was told I should set it up as a GCPad. I did this, but I couldn't figure out how to make Dolphin use my xbox controller as a GCPad and not a Wiimote. My question is, how should I setup the left joystick on my xbox pad to control steering in mario kart?

I already have the a config profile for my xbox controller as a GCPad. But I don't know how to make dolphin use the GCPad configuration and not the Wiimote configuration. 05-10-2014, 08:49 AM

However, when the race started, I still could not steer. Could this be related to the dead zone or some other joystick setting. |
