For whatever reason my controller is only partially recognized. It alternates between which buttons register and which ones don't but what stays constant is that when I set the controls for port 1, the main stick stick is completely grayed out while the right stick, or c-stick, is recognized and can be moved in the button mapping settings. The c stick is off center and ever so slightly jittering in place though.
When I map the SAME controller to port 2 however, both sticks, while jittery and off center, work but now the triggers are completely unresponsive. I have no ideas what's going on.
I tried reinstalling the drivers and such in device manager but I haven't made any progress whatsoever. Maybe I missed something there, don't feel afraid to suggest something in device manager again.
I think I should also mention that:
1. My steam games work perfectly fine with my controller.
2. I manually installed an older set of drivers to make zelda four swords adventure function without the active window glitch, a fix that has worked until this most recent problem.
Suggestions?
