I'm trying to play Metroid Prime and I tried using mouse and keyboard to play, and while I could use those controls if I gotta, it's a little goofy and uncomfortable. So, I tried getting my Xbox One controller to work. It's the controller that launched with the console. It works fine will all my Steam Games. All the drivers are up to date. I was configuring for the GameCube controller settings. I'm using it with a USB directly, no Bluetooth or anything (unless it always does regardless of USB usage). However, it is not recognized under the devices drop box, and using it to try and remap the buttons does nothing. The only options are All Devices and Dinput/0/Keyboard Mouse. Neither work.
I've seen people talking about Xinput, I think it was, but I've seen no information on how to get that to show up. I don't know if there is anything else I need downloaded and if the controller's drivers are not enough. I saw a tutorial on the Dolphin site somewhere that had a link to some Microsoft drivers, but the link took me to a page that just downloaded manuals for various Microsoft products. I wasn't sure where to go from there.
I'm running Windows 10 64, Dolphin version 5.0-15804, and I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Any info would be very much appreciated.
