Xbox One controller not being recognized by Dolphin

What up,

So my dope xbox one controller came in today and its been hella cool using it with steam and project64. It shows up in joy.cpl just fine, and Win7 installed all the driver ez. I was playing rogue squadron pc for all the right reasons, supreme allied commander later, I'm looking to see how the gamecube sequel is. Been a long time since we hooked up. Dolphin installs like ice but when I go to controllers/port 1/standard controller, configure, guess what i see under device? Keyboard Mouse. Guess what i don't see? My dope xbox 1 controller. Por que esse? I searched the forums, I see people have problems sometimes with 2, but just one always seems to work.

Why can't dolphin see my xbone controller?

-Yes, i can see the controller up in joy.cpl
-Yes, the controller is on before Dolphin turns up
-Yes, i hit Refresh, still just see 'kb mouse'
-I'm using the latest directx runtime for my platform (win 7, 11, windows said i had the latest)
-I dropped the xinput1_3.dll into the dolphin folder

My Build:
I5-3550P (3.1 quad)
AMD R9 280
8gb ram
Xbox one controller
Win 7, appl patches applied.

ok so really annoyingly I get it to work. Even though i installed the official drivers and installed all required AND optional windows updates yesterday (so that it literally has a 0 for updates remaining), i check today and theres a new update. Date of new update? 2015. So sometime between May 17th, 2016 and May 18th, 2016, MS released a gamepad controller update dated 2015. lol nigga please

But hey at least its working just fine for Rogue Sqd 2, which is another host of problems apparently. Le sigh!
