XBox One contoller IR problems

Hello everyone,
I have a huge problem with my XBox One controller. I tried playing the Metroid Prime Trilogy today and everything works perfectly exept assigning the IR controls to the analog stick. I cannot reach every part of the screen and sometimes the cursor does not move at all. I am really bad at describing my problem, but if anyone encountered the same problem and has a solution i would be really glad.
