Instead of starting Dolphin.exe start DolphinQT.exe from the latest development build. It is a new (and better although still under construction) User Interface for Dolphin, but lately it has been deemed stable enough to slowly start replacing the old WX UI since most of the functions are ported and working (some work even better like the rumble test).
I do remember a bug with Luigi's Mansion and Rumble not working in that game.
