It's rather odd, and I don't understand why it's happening. I've done my homework, done some research; but haven't found anything about it for two days straight, so I gave up.
The thing is, I have the XBox controller's Left Stick as the GameCube analog stick; then the pad as the pad, and the right stick as the C-stick.
The first few hours it worked fine.
Then, for no discernible reason, it started to behave oddly; for instance, I was unable to taunt anymore in SMB: Melee; instead my character would jump. I went to the mapping; and for whatever reason, the left stick and pad of the Xbox controller had both mapped themselves to the GC Analog stick. Trying to change this was impossible; the input of both the things were recognized as exactly the same thing by the GCPad interface.
Since not that many GC games use the pad; I decided to leave it alone; but then the problem grew worse. For whatever reason, randomly; the C-stick stopped working as such and instead decided to become a double to the Buttons ABXY. Again, going to the interface to fix it was impossible. The C stick was mapped to the Z Axis, but moving the right stick up was only recognized as pressing Y when trying to remap.
Now I'm unable to play any game that uses the C-stick, and that IS a problem. Is there any way to fix this?
