Xbox 360 Wind Waker

Just downloaded WW on Dolphin 5.0 and I was so exited to play it but when I configured my controls and everything I was unable to hit the "yes" button to create a new save in-game. The only button it allowed me to press was "A" and I was unable to move left or right. I looked up solutions and tried them all.
