Xbox 360 OEM Controller

is dolphin and the Xbox360 plugin compatible for and OEM controller or it has to be an original one from microsoft

P.S anwer if you are really sure im about to buy one but i want to know first

it's a controller. Both will work.

I would recommend getting an original Microsoft xbox 360 controller. It's great. If you can get the wireless control and wireles pc dongle attachment. Using this you can connect up to four wireless controllers.

Something that confused me at first was that I thought I had to configure the control my self. You don't, you just check off the box to activate and it configures it automatically for you.

But for the wii you need to setup the actual wii controllers (made by nintendo) to play using a controller. I don't think there's a way to use the xbox 360 controller with wii games and I don't think anyone is interested in figuring this so just be aware that the controller will only work for gamecube games.

Hmm they might work, but if I were you I just would make sure they were official microsoft controllers. If you buy the wireless controller you also need this

so that your computer can receive the wireless signal from the control, but if you get the wired one you just hook it into your usb. If you have Windows vista it will automatcally install the controller for you, if you have xp you will need to download the driver from the microsoft website.

If you have Win7 x64 you also need to dll a driver from microcoft ( shame )
