*Update* Experiencing the same problems with all the plugins for 5619 that I did with 5475. I can map the XBOX 360 controller in the settings using multiple plugins but once the game starts it doesn't receive input at all.

I need a plugin that will have my XBOX 360 usb controller work with games. I set up in the gamepad settings correctly in revision 5475 including the x & y axis for both joysticks. I tested it out with the red dots on those white squares. I did this both with the Gpad plugin and the Gpad New plugins.

I even made sure the Wii Mote was set to Inactive. Here is what I did:

However once I start a game like NEW SUPER MARIO BROS for the Wii it doesn't respond at all.

I tried it using the older Dolphin 2.0 from the main site and it doesn't work either. Input received from my controller works when setting up the gamepad but not once the game starts. It has also not worked for Metroid Trilogy.

I tried an older version revision 4737 and it does receive my XBOX 360 input but incorrectly. I tried with both the njoy plugin and KB/360 plugins. Under the Njoy plugin I mapped out the controls on my 360 controller but in game it does not recognize the changes. My joysticks still don't work and on the d-pad up is left and right is down. The other buttons are screwed up as well.

Is there a plugin I can download that will have games receive input from my 360 controller? If so I hope you will give me a link.

I appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you very much for your time. Smile

Strange that you're having this problem with a wired controller. I use my XBox360 Wireless Adapter, and it works fine for me. No problems at all. Only thing I can think of is that you could Google "Xbox360 gamepad program" or something of the like and see if that helps. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

Why you using GCPad plugins in a Wii game?
There is a wiimote or wiimote New plugins you can use.
That is why you can't get it work.
And make sure you set port 1 to nothing

You're configuring the Gamecube pad, not the Wiimote (with classic control plugin).

I'm not an expert at Dolphin . But I happened to find the Wiimote configuration file posted on this forum. It's been working for me ever since. (Just tried it on rev 5832.)

Cheers!

P.S. Adding a zip file as the system threw up an error for .ini
