I have a retina macbook pro with OS X Yosemite and using a wired xbox 360 controller. I am using the 0.12 tattiebogle driver and it works with my controller fine. My controller light turns on like it's connected to an Xbox. I have set up all the controls that I need for Dolphin under GCPad, Pad 2. But once I open a rom/iso, it won't read my controller. I don't understand why this is happening, and I don't think it has happened to anyone else.

Update to the latest dev build from here: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/ and see if the issue is still there.

I just realized that you're trying to use the Pad 2. You need to have the config setup under Pad 1 for the Xbox controller to controller player 1.
However, if you're trying to add the Xbox as player 2, then under the Config tab in Dolphin, go to the GC tab and select a controller for port 2. 11-05-2014, 01:34 PM

@radawan: Did you do anything special to get Dolphin to recognize the Xbox 360 controller? I'm using the same setup as you, Yosemite 10.10, latest dev Dolphin, and tattiebogle 0.12.
However, in the drop-down list in Dolphin, I just see Input/0/Controller, and nothing works. (The controller is recognized by tattiebogle, though, and works perfectly in sixtyforce and snes9x.) This is driving me insane! 11-25-2014, 08:05 AM
Radawan had was trying to map controller 1 into port 2 and use it as the first controller.
Post pictures of your config tabs, graphics tabs, and GCpad tabs. |
