Xbox 360 Controller Profiles

I used the profile for monster hunter tri but there is nothing for targeting (nunchuk). You need it to add monsters to your hunterlog anyone who could help me? I searched and readed a lot here but I couldn't find any answer to my question.

I downloaded a few of the profiles and put them in the right folder and they even show up in the drop down menu when going to load them. But it seems like the menu has changed since the instructions for loading controller profiles was written because when I load a profile it doesn't properly load. It tries to apply the configuration to the regular nunchuk controller not the classic controller. I've watched a few YouTube tutorials and it seems like the menu has changed in the latest 4.0 version of dolphin so the instructions aren't applicable anymore. Anybody know what I am talking about? Can someone update the instructions on loading controller profiles for the latest version of dolphin? Thanks!

I'm getting into playing Zelda Skyward Sword again after a 10 month break and I've lost my 360 controller configuration.

Hi, is there any Profile for Metroid Triology? or Prime the first Metroid somehow I am to dumb to config my 360 pad? :--)

Yeah, try enclosing the right hand side of each line with ` characters. The ` character is the one below the ~ key on the keyboard.

For example:

Change

Code:

Device = XInput/0/Gamepad
Buttons/A = Button A
Buttons/B = Button B
Buttons/1 = Button X
Buttons/2 = Button Y

To

Code:

Device = XInput/0/Gamepad
Buttons/A = `Button A`
Buttons/B = `Button B`
Buttons/1 = `Button X`
Buttons/2 = `Button Y`

The line starting with Device does not need the ` marks.

Having them all in one place should make things a lot easier for people who are having trouble creating Controller setups that work as well as providing numerous options/setups for you to choose from. In order to use these just rename them to .ini files and then copy them to your
Dolphin\User\Config\Profiles\Wiimote\ folder then load them in Dolphin. If the file is already .ini then simply copy it to Dolphin\User\Config\Profiles\Wiimote\ folder then load them in Dolphin

hey new to dolphin and what if i dont have a "Dolphin\User\Config\Profiles\Wiimote\" directory... after install 4.0.2 ther eisnt even a user dir... where wlse can i put the .ini files to pre-load the layout configs

Hello im pretty pissed off with things right at the moment

first off all ive been strggling to get dolphin working proplery for years.. and i manage to get it work a few monts ago and since then ive been struggling to get my xbox 360joy pad to work as a wi mote thing.... all i want to play is new super mario bros.. thats it.... now i see this forum telling of profiles.. and load up many many many many profuiles i find from the web.. for new super m ario bros.. and NONE of them work propelly... i mean like your one on the first page for example.. i see that profile also other places in the net.. dont you reslise your profile is junk.. poor mario has NO WAY of running? + you are missing a button config for A ... have you even bothered to test these profiles? making mario run is kinda fundamental to the game and your profilel no matter what blood button i hold down DOSE NOT make mario run..

i have been struggling to find info on how to correctly set up an xboxjoy pad for this game specificly for many many months.. ive done tons of reserach tryed so many things. please CAN SOMONE PLESASE explain why none of thsee profiles work correctly.. has anyone at all got a profile for new super mario brothers that mario can run in please?

not only that.. but the profile provided on this very forum for that game fails to provide mario a way to shoot fireballs when he has that power...

obviously the maker of that profile 1. never bothered to test it.. or 2. hasnt a clue how to play mario

Hey would it be possible to have a short (approx 2 lines) summary of what each of these setups do? Like Monster Hunter tri binds the classic controller pretty simple, but Z:TP what was done with pointing and slashing and to waht was it binded? Just so you get an idea before downloading.
