Xbox 360 controller problems

Hello. I am having a problem with my xbox 360 controller. It is moving around on its own in game Dolphin. On all the games i try to play. I have loaded up other games from steam and do not have this problem. When i open up the setting for controller it doesnt show it moving freely. But in game it makes it really hard to play and select the right things. I have tried both of my controllers and they both work fine everywhere but Dolphin. Any idea what im doing wrong?
