Hey guys,

I just set up dolphin and attempted to play a game, and everything seemed to be working fine. However I noticed that when i connected my xbox 360 controller and calibrated it in the wiimote section, (Classic Extension) the controller would drift to the left. This does not happen when I use other emulators for n64 for on the computer, and it works fine so I know this is not a hardware issue.

For example if i am in a menu, my selected option will continually slide left as though I was holding the left contolstick in that direction. I can sometimes correct it by moving the controlstick to the right, however it usually resumes a few seconds later.

This occurs in both wii and gamecube games, although I have not tested many of each.

Please help as this cripples the emulators use on my computer.

(Mac 10.8.5)

Thanks,

Lufthansa747

Attached is a pic of my current setup.

...why are the radius, deadzone, and square stick areas empty? The default values for those are:

*Radius - 70
*Dead Zone - 0
*Square Stick - 0

Put those into those blanks and see if it affects it.

Also a Threshold of 50 is normal for buttons and the dpad, and 90 for triggers.

Any changes I make to any of the fields requiring number input (Radius, Dead Zone) does not save when I close it for some reason. Everything else does however.

Just noticed this now, using most updated dolphin for mac.

Edit* even though they are blank, i noticed by adjusting the dead zone that all values are actually still there. So that doesn't seem to be the issue. (Radius is 70, DZ 0, SS 0)

Hah, Just solved the problem myself. Noticed settings for left controlstick in the gamecube section were a bit fucked from when I tried to set it up the first time.

*facepalm*

Don't run an emulated gamecube controller and an emulated wiimote on the same physical controller. To any game that supports both wiimote and gamecube controllers, your one physical controller will be considered TWO controllers, and the game will decide how to handle that. Some give the gamecube controller priority, others give the wiimote priority, and many, such as Brawl, see it as two separate controllers and so your one physical controller will be controlling player 1 and player 2. Just don't do this, and you'll avoid lots of problems.
