Hi there! I just have found this forum, hope you can help me out if possible with a little problem I have.

Well, yesterday I downloaded this emulator from emulatorzone.com and I must say is awesome how comfortable it is, since it doesn't even need BIOS nor anything annoying like other emulators. So, I run Sonic Colors on my PC watching it beautiful intro, but I couldn't configure my wireless Xbox 360 controller, since the emu didn't recognize it, though works perfectly when playing Sonic Generations PC version. I have no Xbox, but I purchased this pad anyway because is pretty good. So, the point is: how can I configure my Dolphin in order to play Sonic Colors using my Xbox 360 controller?

Thank you in advance.

PD: Exactly this one is what I have.

You will need to make this controller work as a HID, or get a mapper like Xpadder.

How can I do the first one? Yesterday I downloaded Xpadder, but I dunno how to use it. Do you know a good YouTube tutorial that works?

Xpadder for me is pretty easy to figure out. They have there own forum if you need help. For the HID method you need to contact the company that make the driver. They really should support HID?

Guy, I learned how to configure Xpadder myself yesterday, so I spent the whole day playing Sonic Colors. Good game, a bit short, but playable and fun. Today I've tried Sonic Unleashed. It's a piece of crap, and Chip is even more hateful than Omochao, considering than it can't be in Options.

Well, this emu works fine at least. Thank you for your help, anyway.

You don't need Xpadder to use an xbox 360 controller with Dolphin :/ That is just going to complicate things..
Dolphin can make use of 360 controllers without such tools. Configure it in the GCPad dialog.

Is that not what he meant? My guess is SDL didn't recognize it as a dx input.
