Hello everyone,

I am entirely new with Dolphin. I am running Win7 and trying to get Donkey Kong Country Returns running. However, I have to be doing something wrong.

So far I've configured a Standard Controller under Port 1. Device is set to Gamepad and I can see the pointer moving, so this seems to be ok.

However, the first screen of the game gives me "Press 2 to start". I've managed to find this "2" only under Emulated Wiimote (Wiimote 1), so I configured the number 2 there and was able to pass the start screen. I am now in a stage where Donkey Kong is supposed to leave the hut and the game asks me to move the Wiimote up-down. But I don't want to play with a Wiimote, I want to play with the xbox controller.

What am I actually supposed to set up to play with a xbox controller only? Standard Controller or Emulated Wiimote or both and how?

Thank you very much for your help.

For this game, you need to set up Emulated Wii Remote.

I think you want to set up "shake", just configure the same button to all 3 of them should work.
